these are just some random thoughts i had while in AHOP studying Song 3:1-2. Sometimes in order to find the one whom we love, we must be willing to leave the comfort of the familiar and seek after Him in a place of the unfamiliar. she was not only willing to leave her bed, she did it at night. it is in the dark night of our soul that we must press on in seeking after Him.
another thought is that of seeking and not finding she sought him, but did not find Him. i think God was testing to see how bad she really wanted him. i realized tonigt that im going to go, and im not waiting any longer. if someone wants to go with me, they will have to run alongside me or catch up. tell me what you all think? does this resound in your souls?
